It's in its 10th year in business, but nabbing a table at Betelnut is as difficult as the month after it opened. Yet there's a reason - while the treatement at the door is as disorganized as ever, the food and the prices have remained consistent. One of the best new dishes on the menu is an appetizer of poached skate wing in a soy-cilantro broth. Of course, there's the old favorites: Shangahi steamed dumplings, lettuce wraps and tapioca pudding for dessert. -- Michael Bauer |
