When it comes to the Wii, there is a strong tension between hardcore and casual gamers. Most of this tension is felt on the hardcore side, as they are worried the casuals will take over their beloved titles, and the hardcore will be showered with shovelware.
According to an Xbox 360 article, however, this has already happened.
