Supplier Responsibility

Supplier Responsibility at Apple

Apple is committed to ensuring the highest standards of social responsibility wherever our products are made. Part of our role as a global, corporate citizen is to ensure our supply chain lives up to the standards outlined in our Supplier Code of Conduct. As a result of our compliance monitoring and the subsequent corrective actions, conditions have been improved at facilities where tens of thousands of people work manufacturing Apple products.

Auditing and Compliance

Auditing and Compliance

Every partner we work with agrees to adhere to the detailed Apple Supplier Code of Conduct, which covers everything from providing safe working conditions to using environmentally responsible manufacturing processes. To enforce compliance, we conduct extensive onsite audits led by Apple employees in conjunction with third-party experts. After the audits, we closely monitor the suppliers’ cooperation and response.
