Rice has strained PCL
Sidney Rice, WR MIN
News: The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that an MRI on Vikings WR Sidney Rice's injured knee revealed a strained PCL. "It could have been much worse," said Rice, who hopes to play Sunday vs. Carolina. "Im glad its only a sprain."
Analysis: Rice played through his injury on Sunday, so there's definitely a chance he could play against the Panthers, although he said his knee "kind of hurts when I walk a little bit". Keep an eye on Rice's status throughout the week, as he's a low-end No. 3 WR or 'flex' Fantasy option when healthy. Profile
Dungy not worried about Addai
Joseph Addai, RB IND
News: Indianapolis wants to get back to basics. To do that, they must begin running the ball effectively. Pro Bowler Joseph Addai has 27 carries for 64 yards in two games, or 2.4 yards per carry. Minnesota's Adrian Peterson ran for nearly twice that (118) in the first half Sunday. Thirty-five players, including backups Jerious Norwood of Atlanta, Warrick Dunn of Tampa Bay and LenDale White of Tennessee, actually have more yards rushing than the Colts have produced as a team (78). What's wrong? Clearly, the Colts are adjusting to a rebuilt offensive line. Defenses have taken advantage by crowding the line of scrimmage. Head coach Tony Dungy isn't worried. "I'm really not that concerned about the running game," Dungy said. "We need to be sharp and execute well. We'll be fine."
Analysis: The Colts' next opponent is Jacksonville, a team that has been so-so against the run this season and could be more focused on stopping Peyton Manning than Joseph Addai. After that, the Colts have a bye and should be healthier. Figure Addai to continue starting but not taking off until Week 5 at Houston. Profile
Suspension over for Panthers' Smith
Steve Smith, WR CAR
News: Steve Smith is back with the Carolina Panthers, just in time to join a team full of confidence after a surprising 2-0 start. The receiver's two-game suspension for breaking teammate Ken Lucas' nose in a training camp fight ended Monday morning. "He's ready to roll," coach John Fox said. "Obviously he's excited to be back and excited that we're 2-0."
Analysis: There's no doubt that Smith is a must-start Fantasy option as he's well rested and expected to see a lot of passes thrown his way against run-stuffing Minnesota in Week 3. Consider him a low-end No. 1 WR for the matchup. Profile
Report: WR Brown out for Week 2
Reggie Brown, WR PHI
News: ESPN reports that the Eagles have already ruled out WR Reggie Brown for their Week 2 game at the Cowboys. He will not play as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury.
Analysis: Brown wasn't an attractive Fantasy option to begin with, so owners should keep him benched or on the waiver wire. He still has a shot at playing Week 3 vs. Pittsburgh. Profile
Report: Keisel out for two months
Brett Keisel, DE PIT
News: KDKA.com out of Pittsburgh reports that Steelers DL Brett Keisel will be out of action for two months after injuring his calf in a win over the Browns in Week 3.
Analysis: Keisel isn't much of a pass rusher and barely had any Fantasy value before getting hurt. Now, you can just completely ignore him. Profile

Malcolm Kelly, WR WAS
News: The Washington Times reports that Redskins rookie WR Malcolm Kelly is nursing a sprained ankle and will likely be questionable for Week 3 vs. Arizona.
Analysis: Kelly has talent, but he doesn't get enough looks yet to be worthy of use in Fantasy play. Continue to ignore him in all formats. Profile

Safety Milloy arrested on DUI
Lawyer Milloy, SS ATL
News: Falcons safety Lawyer Milloy has been arrested on DUI and speeding charges in suburban Atlanta. Authorities say the 34-year-old player was released from jail Monday morning after posting bond of more than $1,600. He was arrested about five hours earlier. A police spokeswoman did not have details on the arrest. Milloy is in his 13th NFL season, his third with Atlanta.
Analysis: Milloy recorded seven solo tackles in Week 2 at Tampa Bay and was credited with one assist, leading the team with eight total tackles. He's regained his form as far as a hard hitter as part of the Falcons' defense, but this news could lead him to a suspension. Look elsewhere for Fantasy help. Profile
Palmer sprained his ankle Sunday
Bengals, TQB CIN
News: The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Bengals QB Carson Palmer sprained his ankle in a Week 2 loss to the Titans, but that he should be OK for Week 3 at the Giants.
Analysis: Palmer has been horrible the first two weeks of this season, but the weather on Sunday certainly had a lot to do with his poor numbers in Week 2. Things won't get any easier in Week 3 when Cincy travels to the Meadowlands, but Palmer remains a low-end No. 1 Fantasy QB in all formats. Profile
DBs Jackson, Jones already declared out
Dexter Jackson, SS CIN
News: The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Bengals DBs Dexter Jackson and Herana-Daze Jones have already been declared out for Week 3's game at the Giants.

Berrian dealing with a toe problem
Bernard Berrian, WR MIN
News: The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that Vikings WR Bernard Berrian, who left the locker room with a noticeable limp on Sunday, is dealing with a toe injury.
Analysis: Berrian has been a disappointment for the Vikings and Fantasy owners this season. Consider him a No. 3 option at best in Week 3 against Carolina, if healthy. Profile
TE Stevens' suspension over
Jerramy Stevens, TE TB
News: Buccaneers TE Jerramy Stevens has served his two-game suspension and is expected to be back with the team this week in preparation for Week 3 at Chicago.
Analysis: Stevens was formerly a tight end with a lot of upside, but he's been very consistent over the course of his career. Keep him off of Fantasy rosters. Profile
Dillard added to Pats practice squad
Mark Dillard, DB NE
News: The Patriots have signed DB Mark Dillard to their practice squad.
Analysis: Just like all practice squad members, Dillard has no Fantasy value. Profile
Browns defense takes another hit
Browns, DST CLE
News: Browns DE Robaire Smith sustained a potentially season-ending injury to his left Achilles during Sunday night's loss to the Steelers. Cleveland coach Romeo Crennel didn't provide specifics of Smith's injury, but indicated the 6-foot-4, 310-pounder would be sidelined for an extended period. "He is not in the best of shape," Crennel said Monday. "For a big man, an Achilles is a tough thing to deal with."
Analysis: After two games, it's clear that the Browns need all the help they can get defensively, and a big-bodied end like Smith was important. The Browns' secondary has been the clear Achilles' heel thus far, and could be again in Week 3 at Baltimore. The matchup may look good on paper, but steer clear of the Browns DST at this point.
