By CNET Staff

JUDGES: Wayne Cunningham, Antuan Goodwin, and Bonnie Cha

When it comes to GPS, it could be argued that Garmin and TomTom are the two leading and most popular brands on the market today--and it's not particularly hard to see why. Both companies offer solid portable navigation devices that are known for ease of use, good design, and solid and accurate performance. So, which is better?

To find out, we put the companies' two high-end models to the test in a winner-take-all battle: the TomTom GO 930 versus the Garmin Nuvi 880. Both PNDs offer similar feature sets, including text-to-speech functionality, voice commands, and Bluetooth, which makes it a fair matchup. But let's see who is left standing after five rounds.

Let's have a clean fight, fellas. Ding Ding!
