Blender
Unlke many underground MCs, [Levine] doesn't use a $10 word if it'll compromise the beat. [May 2004, p.118]
80
Uncut
A triumph of sample-based, groove-cutting rap that shifts ground with every attempt to pin it down. [May 2004, p.106]

[The DFA's] desk work on Automato's impressive debut raises the profile of their proteges. [May 2004, p.98]

Really great album, mixing hiphop, electro, funk and rock. Thanks to the DFA team, hiphop goes on

This album is in my view perfect. It gives you the chance to check some guys out who're making music from the heart. Also it's very different from the usual hiphop, still it's hiphop, but different, I love it!!! I can't say anything bad about them the raps and the flow's are perfect, the music is perfect
