These beautiful bronze, limited
edition macquette sculptures are being sold to raise funds
for the 2006 ‘Our Way Home’ reunion honoring
Vietnam War resisters and the Canadians who welcomed them
into their country. They are designed and executed by Nelson,
British Columbia artists Naomi C. Lewis and Denis Kleine,
who are the designers of the War Resisters Monument which
organizers of the reunion hope to have erected in Canada.
‘Peace Sign’ by Naomi
C. Lewis and Denis Kleine represents a male and female figure
within a circle, forming the international sign of peace.
The sculpture is 7 inches wide and 10 inches high. Cost:
$1,400 U.S., plus shipping and handling.
‘Peace Offering’ by
Naomi C. Lewis is a reflective, spiritually moving depiction
of a woman making an offering of hope for peace. It is 6 ¼ inches
wide, 17 ¾ inches high and 11 inches deep. Cost: $1,800
U.S., plus shipping and handling.
