There is a balance amongst classes in game, what you need to ask yourself is if you wanna go hybrid, healing, or damage dealing.

The warlock is by far the most supreme class in game when it comes to 1on1 encounters, and a top damage dealing class in raiding situations, but then again you need to ask yourself, is this what I want to do?

#4 well from what i've noticed hunt(ard) pretty much rapes literally anything, can out-dps anything, can do whatever ownage you want him to - But, mages rape him :D or at least I still haven't figured out a way how to properly and easily defeat mages like it is with other classes.

im hearing all this talk about warrior and how it's the no1 pvp class, gonna have to do some more duels and check out 2v2 arena more often or something :D

Hehe. Hunters have recived a big buff. Now to explain them in short, they are weak in melee but do alot of damage in range, the hunters used to have a deadzone between 5-7 yards where they couldn't do melee damage nor ranged attack, now that zone is removed and their usability in pvp have been even more increased (alongside with other buffs). The reason for warriors to be so good in pvp is that they have a healing debuff (Mortal strike reduces healing done to the target by 50%, physical attack) and they arent mana dependant, so they can go on forever. But going a head as a hunter and say that you have problems with mages and not Warlocks is just not gonna cut it :)

#6 well point is besides the fact that now there is only 1yard of dead zone hunters have this nice arcane shot and so on. not a bad thing at all, but when you look at versatility of a hunter he can trully counter anyone with beast mastery, i'm having some thoughts about this mage issue since water elemental deals way too much dmg for my taste, im 2lazy to check but i think mm and silence deal with mages easily. problem is i'm not sure if ice block is affected by silence or not - since intimidate doesnt stop a mage from casting ice block even when under effects of stun.

in battlegrounds mage stand no chance but in duels and shorter battles hunters are not as good as a warlock or a mage are, simply because lock/mage entirely depend on mana and can do tons of dmg in short time - after that they are sitting ducks. im not quite sure how full merciless lock vs hunt would look like, so far like i said lock cant handle bestial wrath, without fear he is pathetic, not to mention intimidate which is pretty useful thing.

im getting close to grappling with the big boys and even though many said after 60 hunters become harder to play im still waiting to see that "hard time" for my hunter.

druids seem damn hard to play but it depends what suits your style, i'll definetly try druds as well after i work some more on this hunt, on vek'nilash prolly gonna be a lock since i just love the hit n run strategy in battlegrounds - cast dot, hide behind a building so that the guy cant shoot at you and run away, watch him slowly come close to death and then dot him again :D

Just remember that if you play a warlock, you must attack all opposing team members (barring low con) with impugnity as long as the odds are not greater than 3vsYou up until you hit level 66 or so. Then, maybe just avoid rogues as they are our prime annoyance in pvp.

Locks surely are the most IMBA class atm (and have been for the last ohhh 10 months or so).

#8 well so far only way (even if im out-geared) a lock can beat me if im a bm is by doing lame trick of starting a duel on a mount and jumping right next to me.

as for 2v2 arena- dual hunters bm+ me (mixture of survival/mm) kinda owns locks. also in 3v3 surv. hunter is very good if used properly.
