  • The Wiki administrators regularly donate large amounts of their time to maintain, and update the wiki
    • If you found this wiki helpful or like to support our efforts you can contract or employ one of the Administrators for as little as an hour. Or you could contract or employ for a specific length of time on a weekly basis and permit working on the Wiki during this period. No company has yet requested recognition. Donations can be public or kept private.

Those who wish to assist this wiki's efforts, have also supported the wiki by donating their valuable time and...

  • adopting software.
    • Submit your favourite software to the Wine application database
    • and adding forum comments about your software to the wiki and summarising the details in the wine application database.
  • Adopting a page on the wiki
  • regularly reviewing a random page over each day's cup of tea/coffee/soft drink, checking for fluency, accuracy or even just spelling mistakes.
  • Sending in corrections and or updates to the official wine documentation based on the wiki.

Thank you, to the supporters of Wine-wiki.org.

While Wine-Wiki.org attempts to advance the Wine project, it is not Official Wine Documentation. For those wishing to support the official Wine project we suggest you visit http://www.winehq.org

Among the many options, people and companies may support wine.

  • Donating software to a Wine developer
  • Regularly testing Wine and filling out bug reports.
  • Regression testing when you find a new bug with your favourite program
  • Testing your favourite software with CxText
  • Contributing to wine's test cases
  • Offer a bounty on a bug fix - perhaps others will join in.
  • Contract to improve software running upon wine.
  • Permitting an employee to test or work on wine for a specified duration during work hours, arranging them to be a maintainer in the application database for their software.
    • Developers, you can make sure that the maintainer for your product will be someone you can vouch for. By assisting enthusiasts officially or even in an unofficial manner, you can protect your interests and speed the progress of your software on wine. Why leave this to chance.

This is not exhaustive nor is it an official list of how to support Wine. We again suggest those wishing to support the official Wine project visit http://www.winehq.org</paypal>
