Though many of the posters are nearly 20 years old, each poster is an authentic original created during the "Golden Age of Video Games" to publicize Twin Galaxies events.

Unfortunately, many of the posters appearing in this column have no available copies left for sale. However, each of the remaining posters is in excellent condition, shipped in a tube.

First High-Score Poster
August 1, 1982
Twin Galaxies' first major poster was distributed to players and arcades all over the world. Featuring blank squares for the local arcades to write in their own local high-scores, the poster was immensely popular.

This event drew international media coverage as well as appearances in all the gaming magazines of the Golden Age. California won at the last minute, nine games to seven.

1st Video Game Olympics
January 8-9, 1983
ABC-TV's "That's Incredible" comes to Twin Galaxies in Ottumwa, Iowa to film history's first video game world championship.

State Teams Tournament
August 24-28, 1983
Eight U.S. States (OH, NE, IL, MI, SO. CAL, No. CAL, WA and ID) formed teams and competed in a high score championship monitored by the U.S. National Video Game Team during their bus trip-- gaming history's first try at nationwide teamplay.

Tim McVey Scores One Billion
January 28, 1984

When Tim Mcvey scored 1 Billion points on Nibbler, Rockola came to Twin Galaxies and presented a free Nibbler machine to McVey. Also, the story went worldwide and Computer Games Magazine made it a big story.

Canada VS USA Conference
February 10-12, 1984

On February 10, 1984, the top Canadian players and the top U.S. players gathered in Ottumwa, Iowa to create rules for international team play and to face off in an international high-score contest.

"Get Groovin' Tournament in Canada
November 4-5, 2005

Specially commissioned by the world-famous Billy Mitchell, this poster was created in limited edition of 20 copies, each individually numbered #1 of 20, #2 of 20, #3 of 20 and so on. Ninteen of the posters were handed out during the event as prizes. This is the only one left. Each poster is full-color and is on 100 lb. bond stock. This particular poster is #13 of the series..
