Season 5 is gonna be such an interesting season because so many of us are intrigued by this storyline of Callie and Hahn and how Sloan plays into it. Shonda had better not disappoint. read more

Next week, and just in time for Father's Day (Sunday, June 15th), Wal-Mart is making it much easier to afford a high-definition Blu-ray player!The original standard DVD format went on sale in the United States back in 1997, and consumers quickly shifted over to the new format from VHS. But in 1998, HDTVs went on sale, and every year since then the high definition sets have gained in popularity. But something was missing...hi-def on home video!While DVD was noticeably better than VHS, it was noticeably not-as-good as the hi-def broadcasts of TV shows and films that people could get from cable, satellite and over-the-air HD. The similarity was too out-of-left-field and timely to be coincidental. Yet serendipity is precisely what Honda's ad agency, RPA, is claiming in the wake of last week's Grey's Anatomy finale. In the season-ender, a young patient arrives at Seattle Grace encased up to his chin in cement. Midway through the episode, a Honda commercial airs, making light of a guy... encased up to his chin in cement. "It's an incredible coincidence," Honda's senior ad manager tells the New York Post. Q: I just watched an interview with Patrick Dempsey where he mentions that the next season of Grey's Anatomy will be 30-34 episodes long. Any scoop on that? A: Really? He said that? My sources are telling me it'll be closer to 24 episodes. read more

Premise: Surgical residents at a Seattle teaching hospital hone their bedside manners on and off the job in this medical drama, which parlayed a cushy Sunday time slot (post-`Desperate Housewives') and a hefty dollop of sex and romance into almost-instant success. Indeed, in the opener, intern Meredith Grey sleeps with attending Derek (`McDreamy') Shepherd the night before she starts work at Seattle Grace. The next day she discovers that he's her boss.
