Bruce McLaren entered the history books in a T51 when he became the youngest ever driver to win a Grand Prix event - a record that still stands today. Born from the success of the T43 and T45 models the T51 was an excellent little machine and helped earn Cooper two Constructors Cups and Jack Brabham two driver's titles. Rear-engined racing had finally arrived. |
