Since 1982, Canada West Mountain School has provided a comprehensive range of year 'round Instructional Courses including Rock climbing, Mountaineering, Backpacking, Ski Touring and Avalanche Safety.

If you want to learn more skills while participating in a backcountry adventure as well, consider our Guided Trips. These include International destinations to Aconcagua in the Argentinian Andes; Canada's highest summit, Mt. Logan; Mt. Elbrus in the Russian Caucuses; Africa's Kilimanjaro and Mt. Kenya; and, Vinson Massif in the Antarctic, as well as more regional objectives such as Mt. Waddington and many other great Canadian climbs and trips!
You won't find yourself being "dragged" to the summit on any of these guided trips - we'll be there each step of the way, but every achievement will be yours to claim and learn from!
