Farm Financial Management & Performance

A dynamic policy and economic environment poses challenges to farm management. Farmers are confronting greater risks and greater flexibility to make changes in their business plans and organizations. This topic measures the financial status of farm and ranch businesses, including their degree of indebtedness and vulnerability to changes in income, cash flow, input costs, and interest rates, and identifies economic, policy, demographic, and other factors that contribute to the financial performance of farms.
