(Nasdaq:AMZN) announced that on September 17, 2008, it will redeem the
remaining principal amount of approximately $399 million of its
outstanding 4.75% Convertible Subordinated Notes due 2009 ("Notes")
with CUSIP numbers 023135AD8 and 023135AF3.
The Notes will be redeemed at a redemption price of 100.475% of
