Everything Fitz

West Stage

The Fitzgerald family band, from Bancroft Ontario, features some of the finest young fiddlers and dancers in the country.

With their intricate rhythms and tight instrumental harmonies, Everything Fitz offers up a high energy and captivating stage show. Experience a blend of musical styles- everything from traditional jigs and reels, haunting celtic airs, gospel medleys, and favorite standards such as “What a Wonderful World”, along with the well-known fiddle classic “The Orange Blossom Special”. In addition to outstanding musicianship, you will be treated to exceptional dance routines including a number of choreographed group dances characterized by impeccable precision.

In a remarkably short period of time, Everything Fitz has achieved a reputation as “Rising Stars” of the fiddle and stepdancing world. They have been the opening act for such International Stars as Ashley MacIsaac and Natalie McMaster and they are now doing their own action packed shows in venues across Canada. Everything Fitz has appeared on national TV where they were the featured entertainers on Vision TV’s National Catholic Mission in 2006. They were honoured to perform as guest artists at the prestigious 2006 Canadian Grand Masters Fiddle Championships in Ottawa, ON. Everything Fitz recently completed an extensive 30-show tour across the province of Saskatchewan as part of the Stars of Saskatchewan 2006-2007 Performing Arts Concert Series and is currently scheduled to perform in 15 communities across Alberta. Everything Fitz will be featured as showcase artists at the upcoming conventions in Boise Idaho (Arts Northwest), Sarnia Ontario (Ontario Contact), and South Dakota (Rocky Mountain Association of Fairs).

Everything Fitz was the recipient of the “Best Showcase Act” presented by C.A.F.E. (Canadian Association of Fairs and Exhibitions) at the 2005 Convention held in Quebec City. Individually, Pat (18), Julie (17), Kerry (15), and Tom (13) have won countless awards in both fiddle and dance. Most notably, Julie earned the title as the 2006 and 2004 Canadian Junior Fiddle Champion while Tom placed first in his class at the 2004 Ontario Open Championships in both fiddle and solo dance and was an undefeated 12 and under fiddler for the entire 2005 season!

Of course, these four siblings have to fit homework, lessons, practicing, and full-time school commitments into their schedules, which makes their accomplishments even more remarkable. All four manage to maintain their status as honour students and participate in many extra-curricular sporting activities.
