KFC houses an ice-making plant with a capacity to produce
80MT of ice in 24hours.
Outer harbor
An along-side berth for vessels up to GRT 2500DWT is built for safe mooring for the fishing vessels to load and unload their catch, as well as for vessels delivering goods to and from the island.
Katsobushi plant
A Japanese specialty, Katsobushi is made especially for export into the Japanese market. KFC produces export quantity of 40MT/month of katsobushi at its Katsobushi plant.

KFC has a built-in
2 desalination plant with a capacity to produce 1000MT/day. In addition to this, an 800MT storage capacity for water and the same for fuel storage are part of the design capacity at KFC.
