The first pictures of the Gunmetal/Steel PLAYSTATION 3 Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle surfaced on the Konami Japan website for pre-order just at the end of last week. Now the Konami Japan site says they've sold out of it. See the Konami Japan website here.

Pre-orders haven't appeared in the US yet. One place where you can keep a lookout and sign-up for notification of the PLAYSTATION 3 80GB Metal Gear Solid 4 Pack availability is on Amazon.com. The bundle will include a 80GB PLAYSTATION 3, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots game and a DUALSHOCK 3 rumble controller for $499.99.

GameStop has listed the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Limited Edition, with the "Limited Edition" price tag going at an MSRP of $84.99. Included in the Limited Edition, as listed by GameStop:

- Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots PS3 in collectible metal box
- Blu-ray DVD containing:
2 Making of Documentaries of MGS4 game - interview with Kojima
4 chapters of the graphic novel
- Metal Gear Import Soundtrack CD
Additionally, customers reserving the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Limited Edition will receive a Gamestop Exclusive Metal Gear Solid 4 Art Book at time of purchase. Offer good while supplies last. See stores for details.

Stop Complaining...
Written by Guest on 2008-03-26 21:29:09
Did you even bother to read? There is a "significant" content difference in content between the LE and the SE. Stop complaining about stuff that hasn't even launched. If you want access to the Beta, buy LE if not... wait a month or two for the release.

Either way, if this is all you have to complain about then you have too much free-time... stop complaining and spreading FUD.
HIDEO KOJIMA, SONY, and KONAMI - WE LOVE

I think us PS3 owners and MGS fans are getting a bit spoiled now haha. We were all waiting for the game and were upset by the delays, but then Konami,Kojima, and Sony decided to make an awesome bundle to fulfill our desires and relieve our sorrows - AMAZING!!! That LE Metal Gear Solid 4 is insane, we get everything basically - plus an artbook!!! The art of MGS 4 is beautiful!!! It's so different compared to everything. This got me so hyped for MGS 4 as did the 5 trailers, screenshots, announced PS3 Bundle w/ Dualshock 3 & MGS 4 - that I'm going to have a party on that glorious summer day of June 11th, and have an MGS MARATHON!!! Playing Metal Gear Solid 3, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, Metal Gear 1 & 2, Metal Gear Solid 1, and lastly Metal Gear Solid 2. Then we'll rock out and play the MGS 2 theme song!
No.

In regards to plucking down $500, ha. Those who ALREADY HAVE A PS3 have already plucked down a good bit of money--on average $550 without the game.
Beautiful

You can pre order them from here soon, the new gun metal color is quite elegant and if it wasn't for GTA 4 coming out first then I would wait for that new model.

Here's the question: what's the differ
Written by Guest on 2008-03-25 23:34:44
According to GS's site, the regular edition comes with a "bonus dvd" of the Guns of the Patriots. So it begs the question: is this disc the same as one of the two discs inside the Limited Edition? That's the real question. Plus, is this fair that someone (like myself) who will be picking up the bundle pack be denied early access to MGO? After all, we're the ones plunking down $500 to play the darn thing-- I think we should be entitled to a bonus all our own.
