Played the game in co-op, it's AWESOME! It's so well-balanced, that you must cooperate well to survive. Though at times you can just ditch the second player, but he/she has the option to take control, too.
I haven't played the first one, so I can't compare. Thus possibly a clean unbiased review.

This game is gunna be good. but i think we should have a multiplayer online mode where we play wit other ppl to help us out.like in halo 3 or gears of wars.yea.i dont have it yet but i hope they consider my coment.
