Well peeps, here we are! Another round of Top Model makeovers. Over the past 10 cycles, its become customary to expect dye-jobs, weaves, and disapproving looks from the Jay's as the girls undergo their transformations and cry throughout the whole thing. Will this year be any different? I'm thinking that's a big N-O. If there's one thing this show has kept interesting since the beginning, it's the makeovers. So let's get to recapping.The episode started out with the girls lounging around the apartment talking about who they thought their biggest competition might be. Despite having been in the bottom 4 last week, Dominique seemed pretty confident in her modeling ability. Just as the girls were starting to get to know each other a little better, the doorbell rang and outside were 12 white bags filled with Applebottom products. Cue the screeching girls. Here we go again! Last week Tyra and the Jay's picked the lucky 14 girls who would be heading to New York and moving into the house. But exactly how lucky were they? From the looks of things, this cycle won't be quite the cakewalk that previous seasons may have seemed. Along with the move back to New York city comes many other changes to Top Model. Now onto this week's recap.Now, typically I'd skip right over the opening credits and get right into the action but if the producers worked hard enough to give us a brand new opening...why not take a minute to comment on it? All I have to say is: Tyra, Tyra, Tyra! I vaguely remember what the intro was like in past seasons but I truly don't remember it being this Tyra-centric. However, I should add that when they did eventually show the girls they looked great. Dare I say fierce? Can't forgive Tyra
I find the whole controversy quite ridiculous. Saleisha’s win on the show, was obviously unfair and the rules were twisted quite a bit. I’m surprised Tyra would pull such a stunt... read more

Premise: Aspiring models compete for a chance to break into the business in UPN's breakout hit. Created and executive-produced by supermodel Tyra Banks, its formula of beautiful women plus unappealing behavior made it enormously popular and one of the more intriguing reality shows, with its wannabe cover girls living together in a Manhattan loft and, between catfights, going out on photo shoots while they vie for a modeling contract.
