Westfall is an area of rolling plains and abandoned farms to the southwest of Stormwind. Although all but a few of the peaceful inhabitants have left, the area is filled with Gnolls, hostile animals and the bandits of the Defais Brotherhood. It is the second area most human characters explore.

Transportation

Travel to Westfall is easy from either Elwynn Forest or Duskwood. There is are roads that connect Westfall with both areas, or characters can swim across the rivers that separate them.

The lone flightmaster in the area is in Sentinel Hill.

Sentinel Hill

The town of Sentinel Hill is the only real settlement in the area. It has only an inn, a lumber mill, and Sentinel Tower. There is a flightmaster just southeast of the tower, and a few vendors just across the road from him.

Sentinel Hill is a popular raiding location for Horde players. They usually enter the area from Stranglethorn Vale. Alliance players can choose to retaliate or to simply ignore them. Because Westfall is Alliance territory, Alliance characters cannot be attacked unless they attack the Horde players first.

Moonbrook

The abandoned town of Moonbrook has been taken over by the Defias Brotherhood.

Despite the Defias roaming the town, it is a very popular location for players because the entrance to the Deadmines is located here.

Westfall Lighthouse

Just off the southwest coast of Westfall is a small island with a lighthouse. Here is the ghost of Captain Greyson, who gives out the quests Keeper of the Flame, The Coast isn't Clear, and The Coastal Menace.
