Transportation

There is a single land route in or out of the Blasted Lands. It runs from the north of the area into the Swamp of Sorrows.

The only flightmaster is in the Alliance stronghold of Nethergarde Keep. Horde players must travel to Stoneard.

Characters can travel to and from the Hellfire Peninsula through the Dark Portal.

Towns and Settlements

Nethergarde Keep

Nethergarde Keep is a large and well defended fortress in the northwest corner of the Blasted Lands. The flightmaster is located on a tower behind the southern most keep building inside the fortress walls. The mailbox is in the center of the keep. Unusually for a settlement this large, there is no inn.

The Dark Portal connects the Outlands with Azeroth. Characters who wish to travel through the portal must be level 58 or higher and have the World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade expansion installed.
