The Canals

The Canals run through the city of Stormwind. Not only does the area include the canals themselves, but also the buildings and shops around them.

The Canals are home to a rare Monster called the Sewer Beast. Don't waste your time on it though, because it drops nothing.

Cathedral Square

Deeprun Tram

The Deeprun Tram connects Stormwind with Ironforge. Trams enter the station every few minutes. It does not cost any money to use them.

Players with a very high latency (a slow internet connection or a slow computer) may have problems using the tram. Excessive lag may cause your character to fall off the tram. Your options in that case are to either use your hearthstone or walk through the tram tunnels to your destination.

Dwarven District

Mage Quarter

You'll find trainers for Mages in the Wizard's Sactum, a tower in the center of the Mage Quarter. This is also the location portal and teleport spells bring you to.

There is a mailbox in front of the Blue Recluse bar.

The Slaughterd Lamb looks like a bar, but the basment houses Warlock trainers. There are also demon trainers and summoning circles.

Old Town

The Park

In the center of the park is a moonwell. This can be used by high level tailors to make Mooncloth and Primal Mooncloth.

Stormwind Keep

The Trade District

The Trade District is the center of Stormwind and its most popular area. Here are located the Auction House, Inn, and Bank.

The Valley of Heroes

The Valley of Heroes is the main entrance to Stormwind. The lakes on either side of the path are popular for low level fishing.

• Auction House: northwest side of the central plaza of the Trade District.
• Bank: southwest corner of the Trade District.
• Flightmaster: southeast corner of the Trade District.
• Mailboxes: In front of the bank.
• Tabbard Vendor
