This instance shares its name with its main quest. The instance itself is sometimes called “Old Hillsabrad,” "Hillsabrad Foothills," or “Durnholde Keep.”
This instance is fairly unusual in that most of the action revolves around an escort quest. This quest must be finished before you can enter the Opening of the Dark Portal. There are sections of the instance that are not involved with this quest, and are set up for characters to explore.
The nearest flightpath is Gadgetzan.

Entrance
The entrance is in central eastern Tanaris. At the entrance to the cave is a dragon who will quickly take you to the center of the Caverns of Time complex.

The instance revolves around the Thrall escort quest.
When you enter the instance, talk to the questgiver standing in front of you. She will give you the Taretha's Diversion quest. Then speak to the dragon nearby and he will transport you to Durnholde Keep.
Fight you way into the keep. Don't forget to clear the mobs standing under the watchtowers to the right and left of the inside of the door. Go to the bridge and look down, you'll see the huts you're supposed to light on fire. Cross the bridge and fight your way to the right, and down into the internment camp. Each hut has two or three guards in front of the door and two more inside. Once you've killed them, find the barrels in each hut and click on them. When you've lit the last hut, a mini-boss will appear.
Once you've defeated him, head back up the stairs (they're on northeast side of the camp) and make your way to the stronghold at the top of the hill. Fight your way inside and head for the stairs, but don't go up them. Under the stairs is a passage going down, where you'll find Thrall.
Talk to Thrall. You'll need to stay with him as he fights his way to the front door. Once he gets outside, a mini-boss rides up and you're in for another fight.
After this fight, Trall gets on his mount and makes his way to the old Tauren Mill. Stay with him because he stop to fight a few mobs. Once in Tauren Mill, he enters a house and talks with a female mage.
After he does, go outside and get ready for a fight.
When the fight is over, speak to the nearby dragon and he will take you back to the instance entrance where you can turn in the quest.
You can now leave, or you can explore old Hillsabrad.
