Durotar is the starting zone for both Orcs and Trolls. The barren land serves as a training ground for beginning adventurers.

Transportation

Durotar has easy access to The Barrens to the east. To reach it characters can simply swim the river that separates the two areas.

Ashenvale can be reached by heading north along the banks of the Southfury river.

There are no flightmasters in Durotar. The nearest flightmasters are in Orgrimmar or Ratchet.

The easiest way to travel to Durotar is by zeppelin. They travel to The Undercity and Grom'gol Basecamp. They leave from the zeppelin tower southeast of the Orgrimmar main gate.
