Market Street Railway is supported entirely by donations and membership dues, and receives no financial support from the San Francisco Municipal Railway or the City of San Francisco. No donation is too small, and all donations to Market Street Railway go to support our programs and initiatives.
In fact, we ask you to specify whether you would like your donation to go to our General Fund, or our Car Acquisition & Restoration Fund. All donations are tax-deductible, as Market Street Railway qualifies as a nonprofit corporation under IRS section 501(c)(3).
