February 23, 2008 - If you weren't too busy chowing down on a Moscone Center bowl of chowder or gawking at that one girl dressed as the Baroness, the Ghostbusters logo on the inside of the WonderCon 2008 program might have caught your eye this weekend in San Francisco.

Yes, set in an ad titled "More heroes. More villains. More Blood. More slime." and among three other projects -- Starship Troopers 3: Marauder, Gabriel and Blood+ -- is the familiar no-ghosts logo on the same green backdrop that came on the two-disc DVD pack of Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2 as well as the first movie's UMD release.

"Something exciting is coming to the neighborhood!" the Ghostbusters section of the ad says. "Look for the big announcement at Comic Con San Diego 2008."

What does it all mean? Well, the ad is branded with the Sony Pictures logo and the three other sections of the ad promote DVD and/or Blu-ray releases. Put it altogether, and it would appear San Diego could be bringing the announcement of a high-def Ghostbusters. Or maybe Sony's going to announce Ghostbusters 3, a Ghostbusters videogame tie-in or that they're building a Ghostbusters theme park.
