J. C. gave it an8:
The game was very exciting, yet I couldn't help but feel as though something were wrong... the game did indeed include very exciting stadium racing and freestyle, almost too exciting, in comparison to the real monster jam shows. Personally, I'd prefer a more realistic game, but that's just my personal opinion. One example of how overdone this game is the fact that you can hardly go off of a jump or over cars without landing on the top of your truck. To counter this, the developers decided to make it way easier that in reality to get back on all fours by turning your tires against the ground. The game also includes the fictitional circuit racing, which for a diehard Monster Jam fan like me may cause you to want to procrastinate on getting to those races and only do the stadium events for a while, which you are able to do, but to get to the world championship in Las Vegas, you'll have to do them at some point. The game modes include championship, single event, and multiplayer. In championship, you word you way up to the monster Jam world finals by accomplishing the task of getting first place in every unlocked event. This mode includes the circuit racing and stadium events. Single event is what it says in the name- a single race or freestyle of your choice (You can only use tracks you've unlocked) Multiplayer really gets the game going. When you choose multiplayer, things really get crazy, doing freestyle with two trucks, or stadium racing as well as the circuits. The only flaw here is that having two trucks on the floor at the same time can occasionally cause the game to slow in framerate for a few moments, but it's nothing that ruins the exciting atmosphere of the multiplayer game mode. True to the descriptions, there are a selection of 20 top monster trucks including Grave Digger, Monster Mutt, Bulldozer, Blue thunder, and several more. Over all, the game will satisfy the diehard monster jam fans as well as those who are new to this whole experience with a variety of exciting races and freestyles. I'd reccomend it to anyone with an urge to get behind the wheel of one of these huge trucks and cause some massive mayhem and destruction on outdoor tracks or in an arena.

Outstanding looks and great trucks. Freestyle mode could be more fair
