Quote of the Day

"I'm not happy about it at all. The fact I've had to be renewed two years in a row, I'm not happy about it because there's a lot of guys who have the same amount of time that I do who have done a lot less and are getting paid a lot more. But my time is going to come. It's going to come quick, too."

- Milwaukee first baseman Prince Fielder on having his contract renewed for US$670,000 by the Brewers.

Stat of the Day

Ernie Els ended an almost four-year drought between PGA Tour victories as he shot a 3-under 67 Sunday to win The Honda Classic. He finished at 6-under for the tournament. Els snapped an 0-for-47 streak in PGA Tour events, dating back to the 2004 American Express Championship in Ireland. It was Els' 16th career PGA Tour victory and he took home US$990,000.
