Eurovision Song Contest 1992
Because the Netherlands returned, a new record was set. 23 countries traveled to Malmö for the 37th Eurovision Song Contest. The stage represented a big Viking ship, in which Linda Martin performed and won with the song Why me for Ireland. The song was composed by Johnny Logan, who also won the contest in 1980 with What's another year and in 1987 with Hold me now.
