Weekly shows to decide finalists
Lithuania: JESC selection process kicks off
Starting this Sunday 9th September at 11 am (CET +1) and for six Sundays, a series of televised shows will decide the finalists for this year's Lithuanian final for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Five acts will compete in each show and a special jury comprising of experienced singers, composers and past Eurovision participants will send one to the final by awarding them points Eurovision style. One more act will be chosen from each show by televoting. The successful acts will compete for the ticket to Rotterdam on 21st October.
The shows will be hosted by Juozas Liesis, member of B'avarija (disqualified in the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest and 2005 and 2006 Lithuanian finalists) and Irûna, seventeen year old member of the popular girl band Mokinukës.
The shows will be webcast live here (high quality), or here ( low quality).
A very special thank you to Egle Jarasiunaite for the submission of the information.
