The Fort Knox Scouting Community consists of the Fort Knox Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts, as well as the Fort Knox Venture Crews. This organization works to support the Fort Knox Scouting units here in Kentucky, and works with the Boy Scouts of America, and the Girl Scouts of the United States of America. The Scouts at Ft Knox, being the sons and daughters of Soldiers, NCO's (Non commissioned Officers), Warrand Officers, and Officers in the U.S. Army, living on a military reservation, have slightly different needs than most other scouts. Scouting Units based on the military reservation also have slightly different challenges than other scouting units. Due to military PCS's (permanent change of station) there is great turnover within military scout units, and it is hard to keep continuity. This site is a way to help oursleves stay in contact with each other, and pass information. If you would like to Join Scouting, become a cub scout, become a Boy Scout, or become a Girl Scout, you can find out how here. We currently do not have any Varsity Scouts or Explorers, but may have a few Juliette Lowes and Lone Scouts. We are near Radcliff Ky., Elizabethtown, KY, Muldraugh KY, Vine Grove, KY., and are not that far from Louisville KY. We hope to see & hear from other military scouting units from the Air Force, Navy, and Marine bases.
