Trade & International Markets

International markets absorb a large share of U.S. agricultural output and supply many food and fiber products to U.S. consumers. ERS specialists provide wide-ranging research and analysis on production, consumption, and trade of key agricultural commodities and on agricultural policies of countries and regions important to U.S. agriculture, as well as on international trade agreements and food security issues.


Spotlights

Outlook for U.S. Agricultural Trade—This report offers, on a quarterly basis, the U.S. agricultural import and export outlook, as well as the year-to-date value and volume of U.S. agricultural exports, by commodity and region.

International Baseline Data—International baseline projections indicate supply, demand, and trade for major agricultural commodities for selected countries. These projections provide foreign country detail supporting the annual USDA agricultural baseline, which are longrun, 10-year projections.
