Opening hours

We are open Tuesday-Sunday 10am-5pm.


We are closed Mondays except Bank Holidays, and also closed 1 January, Good Friday, 24-26 and 31 December.
Entry is free

Manchester Art Gallery is in the heart of Manchester city centre and is easily accessible by Metrolink tram, train and bus.

Access information

Disabled parking is on Princess Street and Nicholas Street (about 50 metres from the gallery entrance).

There is a ramp leading to the main entrance and motorised or manual wheelchairs are available.

 

Toilets are accessible throughout the building and lifts serve all floors.

Guide and hearing dogs are welcome. Induction loops are fitted at reception points and in the lecture room. We also run signed and audio-described events, which you can find using our events calendar.
