Scazza commented on Call of Duty 4 Killed The Christmas Competition, Nabs Top Spot, at 5:40 PM on Jan 17 @Desertwolf: First, he was bitching about the PC version being pirated, and said how looking at the online servers, MANY of the players were running hacked/stolen CD keys. Just because the game sells well on the console, does not mean that its okay to pirate it on PC as they are making money. Top that off with the fact that it just makes PC developers want to support consoles more, and in a time like now, where PC games are selling like crap (see: Crysis and UT3), they have every right to complain, it hurts all PC gamers and developers in the long run. more »

Scazza commented on Can Apple save WiMax?, at 6:45 PM on Jan 11 WiMax is an incredibly cheap, cost-effective way to get internet out into areas that have no hope in hell of ever seeing highspeed over a dedicated line. Carriers are going to put their plans for wired highspeed in home on a back burner and just invest in wimax in remote or rural areas. more » [valleywag]

Scazza commented on Work and Play: A Peek Inside the Lives of Gaming's Greatest, at 3:58 PM on Jan 11 Wow, that as an amazing article, the amount of work that went into it, kudos to you Crecente for gathering all of those together, and likewise to all who participated. I would love to see "updates" to this collection from you guys, as more developers etc send in stuff. Also love how not-over-the-top almost all these developers are. more »

As a long time supporter of yours Im sad to see Im not on your friends list :(. But, i was happy to see you return to Kotaku. Your comments have been missed.

Yeah I quit PSU also since way too much repetition. D: It was fun while it lasted though!

Scazza on Dec 6, 2007

PSU is okay online, but it wears thin with such repetitive content. Its really only good if you have a good group of friends willing to play no matter what level you are, otherwise it just becomes a solo fest as few want to play...

Man, seeing you on XBL makes me think i should give Phantasy Star Universe a 2nd try. To be fair, i only played the offline portion on PS2, but it just didnt hook me the way PSO did, and that's a shame...i was on PS before i even discovered FF.
