Claim your turf at these events, where the best Magic players in your Province, Territory, Island, or Prefecture face off. Become a champion in one of two formats -- Standard and Limited Two-Headed Giant. Designed for casual and competitive players alike, Champs is the perfect way to get a taste of big-time play, without having to leave your neck of the woods.

Tournament Structure The structure for 2007 Champs will be modified-Swiss style, with the Top 8 players playing in a single-elimination draw for prizes and the title of “2007 Standard Champion”.
Yours for participating (while supplies last). | Format
- Standard-constructed format. The Standard format will consist of the following Magic: The Gathering expansions: 10th Edition™, Lorwyn™, Time Spiral™, Planar Chaos™, Future Sight™, and Coldsnap™
- Deck lists are required
Tournament Length
- Swiss rounds - 50 minutes per round
- Number of Swiss rounds based on attendance according to the following chart:

Advancement
- All players may participate in all Swiss rounds.
- The top 8 players after the final Swiss round will advance to the top 8 single-elimination finals.

- Top 8 matches will be best 2 of 3
- Top 8 matches will have no time limit
- Where necessary, the standings after the Swiss rounds will still be used to determine final order in the standings.
Notes
- 24K, REL Regular
- Players are responsible for knowing all DCI rules
- Players must bring pen, paper, card sleeves and appropriate counters
- All Universal Tournament Rules and Magic: the Gathering Floor Rules are in effect for this event unless specifically overruled by information in this document.
Eligibility and Invitations Competitors must reside in the State where they wish to participate in Champs. They must provide proof of residency during registration at the tournament.
The following items will be accepted as proof of residence:
- Driver's license or State/Province/ photo ID
- School photo ID from an in-State/Province institution
- Phone, electric, or other utility bill with an in-State/Province mailing address
Prizes
- Special frame participation promotional card for all attendees *while supplies last*
- Special frame Top 8 foil promotional card for the Top 8 players.
- 2007 Standard Champs playmats for the Top 8 players
- Plaque for the Champion (excludes Great Britain and Ireland)
- Additional product prizes, as determined by the organizer
