Earthquakes Canada Help

Questions about Earthquakes Canada?
Thank you for your interest in Canadian earthquakes and our website. We receive many requests for information (many hundreds or thousands after a significant earthquake). We are not always able to answer every question in a timely manner. Almost all of the answers to your questions can be found on our website.

Recent Canadian earthquakes
Note that collecting and analysing the data from a significant earthquake and converting that information to our web site can take some time (about 1-2 hours after the earthquake has occurred). Small, local events are processed routinely and may take one or two days to be placed on our web site. Please be patient and try again later if you can't find the earthquake you are looking for.
If you want to check on a recent earthquake, visit our Current Earthquake Information section
If you would like to tell us what you experienced during a recent earthquake, visit our Did you feel it? page
For earthquakes elsewhere in the world, try our Links to the world of seismology.
