Majesco to build Wonderworld Amusement Park on Wii

by Chris Clement (2007-12-11)

Majesco Entertainment Company announced Wonderworld Amusement Park for the Wii today.

The title will feature 30 carnival-based mini-games spread across five distinct venues. Playable rides in the 3D park, multiplayer game modes, and custom character creation will also be available. Majesco did not say how Wii's functionalities will be used in specific.

"In summertime, nothing is more synonymous with family fun than a day at an amusement park. In Wonderworld Amusement Park, we bring this sense of excitement and adventure to the Wii with four player support that enables the whole family to play together," said Jesse Sutton, CEO of Majesco. "Only the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers let us reproduce the real life thrill of these games and rides from the comfort of the living room."

Wonderworld Amusement Park is being developed by Coyote Console and is expected to be released in Summer 2008.
