On a recent trip to Finland, SUNBURNED HAND OF THE MAN were 'dragged' into the studio by CIRCLE to create this totally excellent collaboration album. The last few CIRCLE albums have focused on their metallic fascinations (or the New Wave of Finnish Heavy Metal) but SUNBURNED have brought out more of that "Forest" era sound. Driven by SUNBURNED's cyclical rhythmic styles, the songs are drawn out Kraut-rock like jams with some HAWKWIND/ACID MOTHERS esque noise & a similar approach to ethnic folk music that SUN CITY GIRLS are well known for. AMAZING STUFF.

The film is a beautiful feature of their 2006 tour of Iceland, and contains songs found on this two disc set. "Unknown Pleasures" is probably the band's best known album with (at the time) totally futuristic production values & the band officially shedding their raw punk roots & moving into post-punk meets goth beauty. In our opinion, "Unknown Pleasures" is one of the greatest rock albums ever made. The bonus live disc includes a show from the legendary Factory in Manchester. Their last album "Still" is probably their most disjointed album though still amazing. The second half of the record is a live recording that's famous for featuring "Ceremony" with Ian Curtis' vocals (the rest of the band re-recorded this as the NEW ORDER song that we all know & love.) The bonus live disc features a recording of a 1980 show from Wycombe Town Hall. Absolutely essential for newcomers & fans alike!!
