Witold "Vitek" Kieltyka dead at 23
Though his name is virtually unknown outside of the death-metal community, drummer Witold "Vitek" Kieltyka (of the Polish band Decapitated) succumbed to head injuries sustained after a bad van accident while on tour in Russia. He was 23.
One of the youngest and most promising bands in the genre, Decapitated have consistently released albums both crushing and invigorating in their musicianship. He will be missed.

Wow, hearing about Vitek's passing really got to me badly. His he always been oneof my favourite drummers, and was such an inspiration to aspiring young drummers like me. Vitek was an amazing drummer and a brilliant part of the death metal scene and will be sorely missed. Oh and to the c*** with no respect. Imagine how Vitek's wife and kid feel right now , not to mention his brother who was in the band.

its always too bad when a metal musician dies... but a weird thing about deaths in metal is that it always makes the music sound a bit better knowing that there is deceased people playing in that band. i dunno why
