HIV/AIDS Prevention and Care
UNODC is a cosponsor of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS). Our operational priorities are HIV/AIDS among injecting drug users and in prison-like settings.

Human Trafficking
UNODC's Global Programme against Trafficking in Human Beings highlights the involvement of organized criminal groups in human trafficking and promotes the development of effective ways of cracking down on perpetrators.

Illicit Crop Monitoring Programme
The UNODC Illicit Crop Monitoring Programme (ICMP) assists Member States in producing internationally comparable data on the illicit cultivation of drug crops in the context of the elimination strategy adopted at the General Assembly Special Session on Drugs in June 1998

Scientific Support
UNODC's Laboratory and Scientific Section develops and elaborates laboratory standards and working procedures for drug testing and provides scientific-technical expert advice and input for national, regional and international drug-related activities.

Treaty and Legal Affairs
The Office of Treaty and Legal Affairs works with Member States to ratify and implement treaties and resolutions and advises States on the drafting and adoption of drug control legislation.

World Drug Report
The report provides insight on the international drug problem and reveals a complete picture of the extent of the problem.
