Toronto Marlies

There were some nervous moments, but the Toronto Marlies remained perfect. Jeremy Williams had a goal and two assists as the Marlies downed the Manitoba Moose 5-3 on Saturday. Colin Murphy chipped in a goal and an assist for Toronto (4-0-0). Darryl Boyce, David Ling and John Mitchell also scored for the Marlies.

Genoway's SO goal lifts Moose

Colby Genoway's shootout goal was the deciding factor as the Manitoba Moose escaped with a 6-5 win over the Rochester Americans in AHL action Friday.

Crunch edge Bulldogs

Joakim Lindstrom scored the go-ahead marker at 3:28 in the third period, lifting the Syracuse Crunch to a 2-1 win over the Hamilton Bulldogs Friday night in AHL action.
