Application Forms

The Employment Application form can be downloaded in either PDF or Microsoft Word format. The Microsoft Word version of the Employee Application (see word instructions) may be completed online and e-mailed to hrdept@ci.concord.ca.us or completed and mailed to the address below. If the application is e-mailed, a following signed hard copy must be mailed as well.

The PDF version of the Employment Application prints on legal size paper (see pdf instructions). You may fill out the form on-line, print the completed form and mail to the address below or fax to (925) 671-3496 (please mail original to address below).

Please note that resumes are not a substitute for an application unless otherwise stated in position announcement, but may be included as additional information.

You can also obtain printed copies of application materials by calling (925) 671-3308, e-mailing, writing, or visiting the Human Resources Department at the addresses below.

Supplemental Questionnaires

Some positions require the completion of a supplemental questionnaire. If the position you wish to apply for requires a supplemental questionnaire, the link will be included next to the job announcement. You must complete and submit your response to the supplemental questionnaire to be considered for the position. (Application materials submitted without a response to the supplemental questionnaire will be rejected as incomplete.)

Note Regarding E-Mail Submissions

The City of Concord is not responsible for failure of Internet e-mail in submitting your application. You should receive a response stating we have received your application within 48 hours (excluding weekends). If you have not received an e-mail response stating we have received your application, please contact us at (925) 671-3308, ext. 2782. Please submit any resumes or additional documents in Microsoft Word or text format.

Apply In Person

You can also submit your application materials in person to the Human Resources office located at 2974 Salvio Street. The office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. There is also a drop box to the right of the door where you can drop off your application materials (please ensure they are in a sealed envelope).
