PICTURE: Sama reveals aircraft painted with one-off Saudi flag livery

Saudi Arabia's low cost airline Sama has taken delivery of its sixth aircraft, a Boeing 737 to add to its growing fleet.

This latest aircraft was painted by Air Livery and had pre-delivery work carried out by ATC Lasham in Southend, UK.

The aircraft, registered HZ-AMC, was delivered from Southend to Larnaca, Cyprus, then onto Saudi Arabia's King Fahd International Airport in Dammam on 19 October.

Here the aircraft is shown on the runway at Southend airport in its new colours.

Chairman of Sama, HRH Prince Bandar bin Khalid Al-Faisal, says: “In celebration of Saudi National day, Sama decided to paint its sixth aircraft in a unique, one-off livery commemorating this special day for all Saudis. We are here on the fourth day of Eid to receive the aircraft, as an Eid gift from Sama to all Saudis."
