Two-time Olympic gold medallist Becky Kellar is back on defence after having her second child, while teen forwards Rebecca Johnston and Jennifer Wakefield will make their debut with the national team at the tournament Nov. 7-11 in Leksand, Sweden.

Simpson to coach Canada at Spengler Cup

The Super Series has come to a close with Team Canada winning the tournament 7-0-1 over the Russians.

Men's World Championship

Canada defends its gold medal on home soil in May, when the 2008 IIHF World Men's Hockey Championship will be held in Halifax and Quebec City.
