FREMANTLE has appointed former captain and highly respected assistant coach Chris Bond as its general manager of list development.

Bond had been considered a coach-in-waiting in recent years after working under Rodney Eade at the Western Bulldogs. But after missing out on several senior coaching positions, he has joined the Dockers.

Former Hawthorn, Western Bulldogs and Kangaroos forward Jade Rawlings will coach the Coburg Tigers, Richmond's VFL affiliate club, next year.

Rawlings, who also will work as a part-time assistant at Richmond under Terry Wallace, replaces Andy Collins, who has been appointed coach of SANFL club West Adelaide.
