About Michael Voss
Michael Voss was one of the most respected players of the modern era. A three-time premiership captain with the Brisbane Lions' during their dominance of the competition in the early 2000s, Voss retired last year with 289 matches under his belt since his debut for the Brisbane Bears in 1992. Voss was a co-winner of the Brownlow Medal in 1996 (along with James Hird), a five-time All-Australian and captain of the Lions since 2001.
