Relief pitcher Brendan Donnelly (6/11, right elbow surgery) is on the 60-day disabled list and will miss the remainder of the season. Starting pitcher Matt Clement (3/23, right shoulder surgery) is on the 60-day disabled list.
Cleveland Relief pitcher Edward Mujica (9/20, arthroscopic left knee surgery) will miss the remainder of the season. Outfielder Brad Snyder (8/31, broken left thumb) is on the 15-day disabled list.
LA Angels Left fielder Garret Anderson (10/1, pink eye) is probable for Wednesday's game against Boston. Designated hitter Vladimir Guerrero (10/1, sore right/left triceps) is probable for Wednesday's game against Boston. Center fielder Gary Matthews (10/1, left knee tendinitis) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Boston. Second baseman Erick Aybar (8/20, strained left hamstring) is on the 15-day disabled list. Relief pitcher Chris Resop (7/9, right elbow surgery) is on the 60-day disabled list and will miss the remainder of the season. Third baseman Dallas McPherson (3/23, back surgery) is on the 60-day disabled list and will miss the entire season.

Alfonso Soriano set a team record when he led off Sunday's game against the Reds with a homer - his 14th in September, the most by a Cubs player in the month. His 14th homer in September surpassed Ernie Banks's previous club record from 1957.
