The Montreal Canadiens cut 27 players from their roster on Monday, with 25 of them going to the American Hockey League's Hamilton Bulldogs.
Among the cuts are goaltenders Yann Danis, Loic Lacasse and Cedrick Desjardins and defencemen Andrew Archer, Mathieu Biron, Jean-Philippe Cote, Jon Gleed and Pavel Valentenko, forwards Mathieu Aubin, Ajay Baines, Matt D'Agostini, Sergei Kostitsyn, Janne Lahti, Corey Locke, Eric Manlow, Duncan Milroy, Ryan Russell and Gregory Stewart.
