This special package contains all the audio recordings ever made by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. It is the complete archive of Srila Prabhupada! 24 MP3 CDs containing over 1,300 hours of Srila Prabhupada's lectures, classes, morning walks, room conversations, and discussions in MP3 Format. A total of 1,300 hours of Prabhupada including all Kirtan's and bhajans in CD quality. This much improved release of the Prabhupada MP3 Audio Library, digitally remastered, provides a significant improvement in audio quality. You will hear Srila Prabhupada more clearly than ever before. All MP3 files have also been digitally enhanced to remove static and improve audio quality. These are the best quality audio recordings of Srila Prabhupada ever. These new Prabhupada MP3 recordings have been optimized for the iPod and other portable players with new tags. Selecting and playing files by date, by verse order and by the temple Prabhupada was speaking at is now very easy. These new tags make locating and playing the recordings you want to hear very simple. For example you can find all the morning walks Srila Prabhupada gave in London and play them with just a few clicks.
Improvements include:
- Greatly improved audio quality
- More than 200 new audio programs not released previously on MP3
- Optimized for iPod and other portable players
- Digital remastering has practically eliminated tape hiss
- New tags make finding what you want to play easy
Each file contains one complete class only: This eliminates the problem where classes continue from side A to side B of a tape. With this set there is no interruption. The entire class plays without a break. This also means one can play the clips randomly while still hearing complete classes.
Easy to find classes, morning walks, etc: All classes are listed together with, for example, all Bhagavad-gita classes together sorted by verse number. Also all morning walks are listed together. Many devotees like to listen to the morning walks but previously this was difficult as they were mixed up with everything else on other MP3 sets and the original tapes. With this set all the morning walks are listed together with the description, date and location clearly listed in the file name. One simply has to click on the file name to play. So it is very easy to find and play what you are looking for both on a computer or a portable MP3 player.
Descriptive File Names: In other sets the filenames are simply the original tape number, eg: 66_029_A.MP3, they give no information whatsoever about what the file is. This means a seperate index file is required to work out what each file contains. However, with this new MP3 set, the filenames are fully descriptive, eg: BG 6.1-4__You Serve Krishna Or Maya__05sep66_NY.MP3 So simply by looking at the file name you get the complete information about the contents of the clip. This is wonderful if you are playing the MP3's on a portable player as they cannot, of course, read the index files, but they do display the file names.
Full ID3 File Information: The MP3 file structure provides for descriptive information to be stored about the clip within the file. This information is displayed by the player when the clip is playing and also enables MP3 managing programs to sort and select clips. On other MP3 sets this information is completely blank. That means when the clip is playing there is no information whatsoever displayed. On this set all entries are completed as follows: Title (title), Artist (book, verse number eg: Bg 4.34), Album (original tape no, for example: 66-022a), Year (year recorded), Comment (date recorded, location).
